Morgan Lewis bags four from K&L Gates

Morgan Lewis has expanded its global IP team with four new partners from K&L Gates.

Michael Abernathy, Sanjay Murthy, Christopher Betti and Amanda Williamson all join the Chicago office at Morgan Lewis .

Abernathy focuses on patent, trademark, trade secret and anti-trust litigation. He has 30 years of litigation experience and has litigated emergency injunction proceedings involving pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

Murthy has extensive trial and district court experience and represents technology companies.

Betti previously led his former firm's biosimilars practice. His practice encompasses IP portfolio management, patent preparation, prosecution and litigation, and providing counsel to biosimilar applicants.

Williamson focuses on patent infringement actions and related anti-trust matters.
